What we believe...

1. About GOD (John 1:1-2, Isaiah 40:28, Matthew 28:19)

We believe in one, eternal God, who reveals Himself in three equal ways; Father, Son (Jesus Christ) and Holy Spirit.

2. About JESUS (John 1:1-5, John 14:6, Philippians 2:9-11, Colossians 2:9, Matthew 16:18)

We believe Jesus is the only Son of God. He is the Hope of the word, Head of the church and Healer of lives. He is fully God and the only One who can save.

3. About the HOLY SPIRIT (John 14:26, John 16:7-8, John 16:13-Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 12:7-11, Acts 4:31, 2 Timothy 1:7, Galatians 5:22-23) We believe the Holy Spirit is God living in all who receive Jesus as Savior. He is fully God, giving supernatural abilities to all followers of Jesus. He makes us powerful to live lives that witness to unbelievers and bring glory to Jesus.

4. About the BIBLE (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error. It is the real guide for living life now and for eternity.

5. About HUMANITY (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3, Romans 3:23-24, Romans 6:23, Acts 2:8-9)

We believe God created humankind. We were perfect until we rebelled against Him (sin). The result of sin is separation from God, something we are unable to fix on our own.

6. About SALVATION (Acts 4:11-12, Acts 2:8-9, I Peter 2:24, John 3:16, John 1:12-13)

We believe Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation. This is by His grace, there’s nothing we can do to earn it. Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins, to forgive us. Everyone is invited to receive this gift and those who accept it are given eternal Life.

7. About the CHURCH (Acts 2:42-47, Matthew 16:18, Matthew 28:18-20, Acts 1:8, Acts 4:3, Isaiah 54:17) We believe the Church is the collective group of people around the world who follow Jesus doing life together in the name of and for the glory of Jesus. As His people, we are coworkers with Him in His mission. By His power we are called to be bold as we witness about Him to everyone, everywhere, every day.  When connected and committed to Jesus the church is the most powerful force in the world.

8. About BAPTISM and COMMUNION (Mark 1:5, Acts 2:38, I Corinthians 11:23-26, Matthew 26:26-28) We believe baptism is the celebration of a person recognizing her/his need for a Savior, repenting of her/his sins, and is the public proclamation of her/his decision to follow Jesus.  Communion (also called Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper) is remembering the sacrifice Jesus made for us by allowing His body to be broken and His blood shed on the cross. It is also our commitment to live boldly and intentionally on mission for Him.

9. About MARRIAGE (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:24, Leviticus 20:13, I Corinthians 6:9-10, I Corinthians 6:18-20, I Thessalonians 4:3-5, Hebrews 13:4,  I Timothy 1:9-11, Romans 1:26-27, I John 1:9, John 3:16) We believe the Biblical model of marriage is between one man and one woman. The practice of same-sex marriage or any sexual relationship, homosexual or heterosexual, outside of marriage is not intended by God and therefore sin. We also believe that being a homosexual is not the same as practicing homosexuality. We proclaim that God’s grace and power for life-change is available for all who receive Him.
